“Through neighborhood farming, Prosperity Gardens is dedicated to cultivating healthy communities by providing education, employment and collaboration opportunities."
Employment
Local youth are hired through Prosperity Gardens as Production Assistants. Students learn valuable skills through their work on the farm.
Education
The goal of Garden Club is to spark an appreciation and enjoyment for learning how things grow, expand knowledge of healthy nutritious foods, and provide a safe outlet to explore the natural world.
Collaboration
Collaboration is key. With many dynamic partnerships established we work together to meet shared goals, which positively impact our youth and our community.
The Land Connection Champaign Farmers' Market will return in 2018 for another season of great local food! Come by the parking lot by Neil & Main in Downtown Champaign and get your groceries fresh and direct from the farmer!
Prosperity Gardens owns and operates the Mobile Market, which serves the community through improving access and affordability to locally grown produce. Find us each Wednesday afternoon at Frances Nelson Health Center!
