sponsor a student

Prosperity Gardens offers part-time employment opportunities for youth in our community. Each season, the organization hires about five students, called Production Assistants to gain valuable life skills working on the farm and with our partner organizations. Students work between 14 and 18 weeks during the growing season. In addition to tending to the farm and the produce on a daily basis, students learn record keeping, small business management, and communications through running the weekly farm stands. Through our various partnerships, Production Assistants also participate in working with different farms and organizations, like Sola Gratia and Neutral Cycle, offering a wide range of community experiences.

Consider a $2,500 sponsorship today and empower a student in our community to strive for success.

mobile market

Collaboration has been the key to so many of Prosperity Gardens’ successes, and the mobile market project is no exception. With many dynamic partnerships already underway, there is still important space to be filled by sponsors as we move forward with program development.

Prosperity Gardens is seeking donor support to allow for stable growth of this program. Sponsorship with PG is a true partnership and investment in the mobile market program. Recognition will be provided via promotional materials such as truck naming rights, press releases, and printed logos that will be displayed on the windows of the bus.

PG’s existing Champaign plots will provide a significant portion of the produce sold at the mobile market, but cannot meet the demand alone. PG is seeking a collaborative network of local farmers to support the program with additional produce, especially for those looking for an outlet for surplus harvest.
